Australian Work Visa Update

The Australian Department of Health and Ageing has sent out a bulletin highlighting potential skilled migration list changes.  GPs are not on this “potential changes list”, so they should remain on the Medium and Long Term Shortage Occupation List (MLTSOL) through to at least January 2019.  I.E. GPs should still be able to get 4 year / renewable visas with the option to apply for PR. However, the DoHA can change these lists whenever they want to but it is unlikely that they will do so until the next scheduled review – January 2019

N.B. The two medical occupations which have been highlighted to move are anaesthetists and dentists – flagged to move from the Short Term list to Regional Occupation List

That's great. The certificate is attached. I'll try to book a flight for Sunday, May 18th. Thank you for your information concerning the Health Insurance. I am very happy that I have the opportunity to start to work in GB now. Thank you for your help.
