Sydney and New South Wales

Sydney is one of the world’s best cities.

Sydney is a big city, by far the largest in Australia. The whole metropolitan area has a population of 4.5 million and extends from Wyong in the north to Wollondilly in the south – about 130 miles. To the west, it extends as far as the Blue Mountains – about 100 miles away. The main part of the city though is a 10 sq mile section centred on the famous Opera House.

There are some GP jobs in the outer suburbs of Sydney, otherwise the main vacancies in New South Wales are on the coastal strip to the north and south of Sydney. Plus, we have a few inland in more rural NSW
