This town is a holiday resort area near to Woollongong, about 65 miles south of Sydney.

There’s been a lot of redevelopment over the past few years. There’s a good looking main street with cafes and verandhas (Addison Street), over 20 restaurants, including Thai, Chinese, Italian and seafood. Housing looks modern, well spaced out. In short a prosperous neighbourhood

There are a number of good beaches, plenty of surfing, sea fishing and national parks inland (as well as Jervis Bay to the south – a fab bay, beach and marine wildlife area)

Train links: Trains every hour to / from Sydney and every 30 min at peak time

Road links: It’s about 1hr 15 min drive to Sydney
